PRINCE PETER HAUROVI - "..I FEEL ART MAN !"

'..I FEEL LIKE I WANT TO                                             COLOUR  THE WHOLE WORLD!'

FACTS ABOUT PRINCE PETER HAUROVI

I discovered my talent when l was in Grade 6. I always had my sketch book and pencil in my hand. My friends told me that you are a real talent. I still remember a friend of mine, Donald Gambiza encouraging me not to use my talent on useless drawings. He came up with this encouragement because at that time, l used to draw nude pictures with my other friends. I accepted his advice. From that day onwards l felt God's blessings upon me. Everyone including my dad, mom and fellow worshippers always remind me of my God given talent. After completing my O and A level education, my dad insisted that l should go to a polytechnic college to further my studies. That was amazing! I started my journey as a true and 'SUPER-TALENTED' artist at Masvingo Polytechnic College studying Commercial Design in 2013.

That is when l met HOD Mr Moyo, Lect. Mr Kupfuwa, Lect. Mr Dzambo, Lect. Mrs Makonese and Lect. Mr Musipa The Great. These lecturers are my raw models and l do not know how to repay them. They are the ones who introduced graphic design and a solid business mind. This element became essential to my talent. Lect. Kupfuwa always said this to me, "Prince, l see a bright future..." l improved my skills and designs because l was their close associate. l developed a huge sense of designs.

This helped me understand the world of art better. With the help of my mom and dad, l managed to have my own art studio with full equipment at home. Its now easy for me to showcase my talent even if l am not at college. That motivates me to say, "..l want to colour the whole world."

l will showcase my art and design gallery with you next week on this blog.
