Aldridge Takudzwa Masendeke aka ALDRIDGE KING is a zim hip hop artist aged 22.The pseudonym Aldridge king being combination of both his real self and alter ego, he explains it as more of a balance between dreams and reality. He started of with the name KING ALDY but switched to Midas then finally settled on Aldridge King as a way to say he is not hiding anymore, he believes in his art and will use his government name as a stamp to certify quality. His music is greatly influenced by the works of conscious rappers moved by content like the likes of Jay Z,J.cole and Munetsi locally. Also future greats like Tehn Diamond and Jungle Kid (Bango) had been great influences.

First introduced to the genre by his brother who is a real hip hop head way back when he was in primary school. From then he was hooked on the art and wrote his first track when he was 12 titled UNLEASH but recorded it later on when he was 16.After that he has released a string of singles and freestyles which have received positive feedback from various audiences. He believes hip hop is more than just a genre but more of a lifestyle..you live it and telling its story comes easy..His work ethic is centered on inspiration, among his circle he is known for many unreleased projects, recorded but not released simply because they feel uninspired. In a hip hop scene where lyricism is no longer greatly appreciated he stands by his notion that true rap is not dead but lives in him and a very few lot he deems the dying breed. Currently he is working on a number of singles which are meant  to change the game completely.Working with CMG records a stable he has worked with since 2010 also with Skylink records he promises an explosive 2017.

His latest release FIND PEACE is an honest, deep hip hop track where he tells how he thinks wealth is peace and he needs to find it.He touches on how peaceful it would be not to have to worry about money. These are the thoughts of many people and he is bold enough to tell them in the booth. Only was not to worry about money is having it in abundance..."might not be an answer to all problems butt its a pretty good place to start" -King
